About Tianna

Hi I am Tianna Smith! I grew up in North County San Diego and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from San Diego State University. I then moved to Utah for a few years to complete my Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences at Brigham Young University. I started my career as a dietitian nearly 10 years ago in Arizona where I worked for multiple eating disorder facilities. I knew instantly that working with clients who struggle with eating disorders and disordered eating was my passion. I also enjoy working with clients who are looking to improve their overall nutritional intake and health through balanced eating and exercise. While in

Arizona I had the opportunity to work with clients in all levels of care, including inpatient treatment, residential treatment, partial hospitalization treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and outpatient counseling. I have also created nutrition programs for multiple eating disorder programs in Arizona and California, and was the Director of Nutrition for an eating disorder program in Rancho Santa Fe. I also have a love for teaching, and taught nutrition courses at Phoenix College. I love using hands-on experientials with my clients so they can see for themselves that food and nutrition can be pleasurable and fun. I find it incredibly rewarding to witness a persons’ mental and physical health improve by consuming balanced nutrition. I also find it to be very exciting to see my clients' connections with loved ones improve as their relationship with food improves. I am passionate about helping others see that developing a healthy relationship with food is possible and I know how to help you achieve that.
